Game One: Flood Ford 9 Warwick PAL 4
They lead the series, 1-0.

Flood Ford defeated Warwick PAL, 9-4, to take a 1-0 lead in their best of three series.

Chris Manzo, who started, struck out seven batters and allowed just two runs in six innings.

Devon Glenn and Yanni Fotopolous closed out the game on the bump.

Offensively for Flood, Will Mascena had three hits, scored a run and drove in two. Mason Broomfield scored two runs and Angelo Fuscarallo had a two-run single to start off the scoring for Flood.

Game One: Narragansett/South Kingstown 11 Vogie 1
They lead the series, 1-0.

Game One: Westerly 4 Cranston 1
They lead the series, 1-0.

Led by the stellar pitching of Dean Pons Jr. and the hitting of Luke McAllister, Westerly beat Cranston, 4-1, in game one.

Pons, who went the distance, struck out eleven batters.

Offensively, Luke McAllister hit a two-run home run in the top of the first inning and Drew Pearson had two hits and two rbi’s.

Game One: West Warwick 3 Chariho 1
They lead the series, 1-0.

Backed by an opportunistic offense, Logan Dean and Dominic Carollo led West Warwick to a 3-1 win over Chariho.

Dean, who picked up his second playoff victory, struck out ten batters and allowed just one unearned run in five innings of work.

Meanwhile, Carollo closed the game by striking out four batters without allowing a hit in two innings of relief for his second save in two days.

Chariho starter Andrew Smith pitched well for the Chargers. In six innings of work, struck out five, allowed two hits and did not allow an earned run.

Down 1-0 in the bottom of the fifth inning, WWCM scored two unearned runs (Logan Dean and Nick Brown) on two walks and three errors.

In the bottom of the sixth inning, Calvin Battersby walked, stole two bases and scored on an errant throw to give WW a 3-1 lead.
