Led by the solid pitching of Alex Coutcher and Jonas Kendra, Flood Ford picked up their second win of the year over East Providence, 7-0! The duo combined on a two- hit shutout with 10 strikeouts.

Flood scored their first run in the fourth inning when Jay Pilderian singled in Danny Rice.

In the fifth inning, Flood broke the game open with six runs on seven straight hits with two outs.

Lead by the strong pitching of Jack Kesner and Justin Giles, Chariho won their second league game of the summer, 3-0, over Coventry.

The duo combined for a no-hitter with Kesner striking out 8 batters in six innings of work.

Liam Flynn, who was strong behind the plate, drove in a run with a double.

Flood Ford Auto evened their record at 1-1 with a 2-0 win over Chariho.

The trio of Danny Rice, Connor Kennedy and Nolan Sion, who combined on the three-hit shutout, struck out 14 batters.

Offensively, Jay Pilderian’s double scored the only two runs of the game.

For Chariho, Johnny Peligrino pitched five strong innings and Justin Giles led the team with two hits.

Led by the combined one-hitter by Braeden Perry and Mason Walsh, Slocum Baseball defeated Narragansett/South Kingstown, 13-1, for their first league win of the year. Catcher Brendan Kearns was solid behind the plate.

Offensively, Danny McNeil led the offense from the lead-off spot with Jake Morton, Wyatt Daft, and Geoff Coyne also contributing with the bat.

East Greenwich erased a 5-1 deficit with 11 runs in the top of the seventh to beat Coventry 12-5.

Parke Hardesky went 3 for 4 (2 rbi’s) and Conrad Swanson hit a three-run homer to lead EG offensively.

Jack Matus, who recorded the win, allowed just two runs in four innings of work.

Coventry starter, Jayden Voelker, was dominant, striking out 12 batters in four innings of work.
